More Christmas Pics

Cheese!
Here's some more pictures from The Ficht Christmas. Grandma helped me open some more presents.
Hayden wasn't too sure he liked the "hair ball". Kerri (Jason's cousin), Lee, Autumn, and Preston came over on Christmas day.Preston was very good with "Baby Hayden". Here they are playing a game of peek-a-boo. Many games of Texas Hold em' were played.
Does he bit? Oh boy... another Christmas tree.
Arron (Jason's Cousin) and Jason.
Hayden running through the house making lots of noise.
Sue and Randy preparing the ritual Christmas Eve prime rib dinner.

First Christmas

Here's Hayden with his Christmas Eve gift. I think we have a climber.
"You've got it Grandma- we bounce like this."
Finally he got down to business.
Here's Hayden petting his new dog from Angela. We still need to name him- any suggestions?Hayden's instant friends with anyone that offers him their cell phone.
Jason's cousin Nita and her son Joey- they were visiting from Hawaii.
A little night cap before bed.
"How does it work again Dad?"
"Actually, I think it's more fun if you stand on it."
I got home and realized I didn't take many photos- especially group ones. I'll have to get some from Angela and Sue and do another post. Stay tuned...

Oh Christmas Tree...

We got a Christmas Tree! They put it inside the house and then mom hung toys all over it!

But Mom, why would you hang them if I can't pull them off? Can't I have a little privacy around here?
Why are you being so noisy Mom? I don't have anything...
I wonder how far these lights will stretch? What's under here? Huh, It doesn't appear to be connected to anything.

I got it, I got it! I'm taking this to my room.
It can be my new blanket!

Sorry blanket, Mom said you have to stay with the tree.
Whew. Getting a new tree in your house is exhausting. I'm ready for a nap. Come one Mom, just one nap with the tree skirt?

Early Christmas Weekend

We had a pre-Christmas dinner at the Ficht's house this weekend. Jason's sister and family came into town for the holidays and we celebrated a little early.
Hayden appreciated all the new toys at Grandma's house.
And even some new "non-toys". He's very mobile and curious- a bad combo.
Here he is showing Angela some of the new toys. Here's the Jefferson Family with their new addition Noah.
Here's a big Christmas smile from Noah.

We got all dressed up for family photos.
Our present this year was pictures for the new Grandparents. Alyson arranged to have a photographer come on Saturday. I'll post the professionals when I get them.
Then on Saturday night, Angela watched Hayden so Jason and I could attend his holiday party. We went to dinner and The Rockettes at the OC Performing Arts Center.
These are the cute pics Angela got from the evening.
Jason left today for China. I still haven't posted pics from the last trip. Maybe I'll combined them into one post...
Hayden's striking a pose! This one's my favorite. See what too many digital pictures can do to a young guy!

Pushing the Limits...

We have quite the climber on our hands...
Hayden now uses the Cosco diaper boxes to practice his climbing. Here he is testing the structural integrity of the box.

This is where he ended up when the box buckled.

He thought it was pretty funny. He has no fear and no appreciation for gravity.

"Alright, enough pictures. Can someone get me out of here?"

First Hair Cut

"Can I see your barber's licence please?"
"Are you sure about this Mom?"
Hayden did so well. He loved the yellow bug they put him in.
"Dad look, I'm driving!"

" Hey, who's that kid in the mirror?"
If I would have known he'd do this well, I would have got his hair cut a long time ago.

"I'd love to hold those scissors for you."

He looks like such a little boy now! No more baby. He's moved into the toddler stage. And I forgot to mention in the other blogs that he started walking around 10.5 months.
