Christmas Cookies

We had a Christmas cooking day.  We made sugar and chocolate chip cookies.
Our first batch of sugar wouldn't roll out- too crumbly.
So we made them into sugar drop cookies.

Ready for the oven!  They turned out nicely.
Hayden did the chocolate chip cookies.
Hailey and Brooke mixed food coloring in white frosting for our 2nd batch of sugar cookies.

Hayden made some signs and posted them.

This is my new Christmas decoration someone from work made me.
Rusty and Lindsay stopped by for cookies.
We gave each of them an extra cookies for Pat.  But Pat never got them!
Paige likes to play with my camera.  She took these pictures below.

Christmas and Awards Program

 Hailey's Kindergarten Christmas Program.
They put this garland thing over her head- very festive!

She wore her Christmas jacket that Snow Grandma gave her at Thanksgiving.
She was right in the center of the group.
She looked very shy up there.
This was the closest thing to a smile we got!
Then later that day, Hayden got an award.
It was for his hard work in "Running Club" and for Friendship.
With the rest of award winners from his class.
And the rest of the 3rd grade.

No More Training Wheels for Hailey!

Dad took the training wheels off Hailey's bike at her request.
And within a 1/2 hour she was good to go!
I don't even think she fell the first day (she did a few days later).
She was so excited to ride a bike like the big kids on the block.
Hayden came out to watch his sister.  A little camera shy?
 Messy hair.
 That's better.
 Brooke helping.
 One happy bike rider!

Decorating Christmas Tree 2015

The kids enjoyed helping decorate the Christmas tree this year.
They liked remembering the decorations from years past.

Unwrapping them made a big mess!
I didn't get a good picture of the finished tree.  We added some red garland after we had all the ornaments hung.  It was a very pretty tree this year.  And it's the first time in a long time that it didn't get too dry before Christmas!
Beach Grandma and Grandpa stopped by to help.
