Play Time

Early last week Jason was in Palm Desert for an Planning Conference.  So the kids and I found fun ways to keep busy without dad.
We put socks on Hayden's stuffed animals!  I'm not sure why this was fun for them, but it was.  Then they posed for a picture.  I said, "now make a funny face."  I love how Hailey makes sure she's doing it just like Hayden.
Hailey found her pink Minnie Mouse socks.
 One more goofy picture!
Then we pretended to have a sleep over with the animals.
Here they are "pretending" to sleep- Hailey was awfully giggly!
Hayden LOVES acting!  And Hailey has to check to see what her brother's doing.

Little Bit of This, Little Bit of That

Here's an assortment of pictures taken over the last few weeks- some from my phone and some from my camera.  Here are the kids before school.
 Walking Hayden to school.
 Princess Hailey.
Hayden and I went roller skating with a school fund raiser.  It was his first time and he fell a LOT. But he had a great time.
Here's Hayden breaking in his new bike.
He picked out the green one.
My cousin, Hunt from Mississippi, came to visit with his wife and little boy.  Here's Hayden and Elisha making a rock pile.
Hayden got out the tape measure- he wanted to see how much taller Hailey was than Elisha.
Moments later, Hailey tried to strangle poor Elisha.  She stood behind him and wrapped both arms around his neck as he sat on the floor.  I'm not sure if she was trying to hug him or pick him up.  But Hayden (who called us to help poor Elisha) said, "No, she was choking him."
Looks like she needs to learn how to be a better host!
 Wild horsey rides with Hayden.
Elisha was such a good, sweet little boy.  A pretty stark contrast to my rowdy bunch!
