Play Date in Feb.

 It's been super warm this week.  80's... in Feb.!  

 So, around 11 am Hailey asked if we could get out the sprinkler toys.  

 Silly goose.

 How is she getting so big!  No baby fat.  I now have kids not babies or toddlers.  Time goes by so fast!

 And it wasn't long before these three grabbed their swim suits and join in the fun.  

 Hayden's best friend Brock and his brother Jack.  The three of them play so well together.

 Oh, the joys of childhood!

 These Southern California kids are pretty spoiled with nice weather.  

Then in the afternoon Hayden, Brock and Jack headed to the NB Bay Club to swim. It's a rough childhood for sure. :) 

Valentine's Day Crafting

 Last weekend the kids were bored so we started making Valentines early for the neighborhood. They both drew pictures and Hayden wrote a nice note ("Glad your my neighbor", etc.).

 Then we made blueberry muffins.

 And packaged a couple muffins and the Valentine.  

 Vivi joined in about half way through.  

 Then Hayden delivered them to each of the neighbors.

 The next day Hayden got this at the door.

Barbara made him 3 paper airplanes and a thank you note.  Love our block!  

Then on Thursday night each kid made cards for their classmates.  Hayden even bought a pack of mechanical pencils to give to his classmates with his own money!  So proud of him.  He really loves both pencils and stickers right now.  

Playing School

 Both kids love playing school. 

 And both like to be the teacher!

 Here Hayden is the teacher and helping her learn her letters.

 I had to get pictures because it's pretty rare these days to have them play nicely together.  

 I think this session actually ended with Hayden telling her she was an a horrible student.  And Hailey whining to me that Hayden was a mean teacher.  Good thing I captured the good times so I can look back and conveniently remember just the peaceful moments! 

Super Bowl Sunday '15

 Hayden and Jason started the day with a little game of catch.

 Good catch Hayden.

 He asked Suzanne to make him cut off shorts.  Now they are his favorite and he wears them multiple times a week!

 Miss Hailey came outside to take pictures too.

 Eric joined in the fun too.
