A couple weeks ago, Hayden had his first T-Ball Game.

He started out fairly interested.

Hailey and Beach Grandma came to watch. Wow, Hailey is a REALLY hard to watch while the game is going... I was really glad grandma was there.

First ground ball and Hayden throws his arms up.

The one size fits all hat doesn't quite fit.

Chasing Hailey off the field.

And that granola bar in her hand caused a lot of controversy. Once Hayden saw she was eating, he wanted one too! And the little interest he had in the T-ball game completely diminished.

And the little girl with the pink helmet on third base was just too cute!

Here's Hayden begging us for a granola bar and to go home.

He's staring at his sister... very jealous that she's eating and he's not!

Time to bat.

Running the bases.

Fielding again... And not watching the batter.

Still not watching the batter.

Trying to get our attention. Check out his teammate's stance behind him. We couldn't get Hayden to do this.

He got to hit 4 times. He was thrown out 3 of the 4 times which is quite remarkable for the other team... shows you how long it took him to get to first base! But they let the kids still run the bases even when they get out. Which was very nice.

"Go Hayden! That way! Run to the base. No, not towards the pitcher, that way. Faster. Why are you trotting!"
So, he's not really taking to baseball. Last week he begged us not to go to the game so we didn't. And this week it's rained out.
We are trying to find the balance between forcing him to play and him HATING baseball and trying to get him to finish what he starts.
