Teething

Hailey still only has two teeth but we think some others are getting very close to emerging.

She enjoyed a cold treat today on her sore gums. And Hayden just can't stand a picture to be taken without him in it. :)

More please!

Hayden wore normal close over this outfit and then revealed himself as Superman at the park. Poor Hayden, he acts as if he's attention deprived... he's not. I think he was really hoping for the other kids at the park to respond, "Wow, look Mom! It's Superman." But I'm pretty sure he just got, "Mom, what's that strange kid doing?"

Happy Father's Day and Friends

They posted this at school... each kid's response to "Dad. Why is he so cool?"

Hayden's response went on and on. I have to say, I am a little jealous. Hayden's response to the Mother's Day question was not nearly as long. Looks like Jason's the fun one! No big surprise here... Hayden doesn't appreciate my cleaning and cooking skills yet. I guess I'd better start playing more Legos. :)

Last week he got a special visit from an old (i.e. long-time, not old as in age) friend from Cal Poly. Greg, his wife Ivy, and son Luke live in Waco, TX (both professors at Baylor). They are on summer break and spending a month in Cali. We were so glad to see them! Wish they lived closer.
