8 Months (Yesterday)

I forgot to mention it yesterday but Hayden turned 8 months.
We had a neighborhood party on Sunday- a tradition for Labor Day on our block. Hayen's using the girls pool which explains the Strawberry Shortcake floaty and pink pool.
You can see his cute little "swimmer" diapers. They have Nemo on them.

The block party moved down the steet to the house with the big pool.

It was Hayden's first time in a big pool- he'd been in the kiddie pool on the 4th of July.

So what does 8 Months look like for Hayden:

• He's crawling EVERYWHERE
• Stands up on EVERYTHING
• Even "cruises" or walks along furnature and walls
• Trys to let go and stand without holding on to things- usually only lasts 5 sec.
• Eats baby food (Stage 1-3)
• Has tried the Cheerio's and Gerber Graduates- only 20% actually makes it into his mouth
• Has been sleeping through the night since month 5
• Loves all kinds of electrical cords (constantly have to watch him)
• He's not super advanced verbally- says "blah blah blah" and "da da da" and stuff like that.
• Still sweats a lot (but it is super hot right now)
• Is very independant- wants to do everything himself and pushes away any assistance
• Has a very strong will (where did he get this from???)
• Still only two teeth
