Random Memorial Week Pictures

We were in Cayucus the week before Memorial Day Weekend. I was interviewing some students and Jason and Hayden came along. Hayden was on his worst behavior- he wouldn't take his naps while in Daddy Daycare. He had a huge melt down during Farmers Market- fun times. But the week was good- we found some great candidates for our job openings, we stayed at a nice place in Cayucus, and had a great time hanging out with my co-worker's and his family. We drove home early Friday morning. Jason had to be at a 2 pm meeting in Irvine and we were able to beat the weekend traffic. On Sunday we had a block party. The neighborhood hired a Taco Stand to come (pictured above)- which was the highlight of the block party. Amazing tacos. I think Jason ate 10!
The neighborhood kids bought these pin wheels at the grocery store and wanted to give one to Hayden. He was very appreciative (in his own way). He wouldn't let it out of his grip the whole party. Block parties with Hayden are very interesting. I had very little conversation with anyone because I spend my time chasing Hayden around- trying to keep him out of planters, off tables, and away from the hose.

The long weekend ended abruptly for Jason. He was picked up by an LAX shuttle at 4:30 am on Tuesday morning! He had a workshop in Vancouver this past week. Here's a picture of the developer's site.

Here's a picture of another development already in the area. It's such a pretty area- very dense with trees. Jason made Associate at JZMK recently and is assigned the lead role in developing clients in Vancouver.

This was the view from Jason's hotel room. He said he'd sit and watch the sea planes land.

This is the harbor/waterfront walk way in the city.

And this is another view from his hotel at 10:00 pm- still pretty light out. He said the sun would come up 5 am and set around 9:30 pm.
