Beach Morning

Hayden's been asking to "go to the beach" for a while now. So we headed down to the Newport Finger Jetties on Saturday morning. He thought he was big stuff... down at the beach with all the surfers.He was quite independent. He would walk out, often waving "bye, bye Mom!"Until the waves got past his ankles... then it was a different story.
Dad runs to the rescue while Mom just keeps taking pictures.There, there.
Not so brave any more, huh Hayden! Looks like we can wait a few more years before getting him a board.
We stayed out there long enough for him to get nice and cold. Then wrapped him up like a little burrito and took him back to the car for a good de-sanding (i.e. stripping down to his nothings while exposing him to all the passing cars on PCH).
