Last weekend we went to Palm Desert to visit Angela. Here's a view from her community. It was such a nice weekend- great weather and beautiful views of the snow capped mountains.
We stayed at Richard and Linda's condo with grandma and grandpa Ficht. Here's Hayden playing with a special dinosaur Angela brought him.
And to my surprise, when I asked him what kind of dinosaur it was he answered, "a brontosaurus!" They just finished learning about dinos at school.
On Friday we visited the Living Desert. Hayden had a great time.

And the new attraction- the merri-go-round. Hayden wanted to ride the "parrot" (which was actually a hummingbird). And on the second ride, he choose the frog.
The day ended with a nice dinner out and a special cupcake from Angela. Hayden loved the frosting!
