We had a very full weekend filled with lots of fun.

We started early on Saturday... dying eggs by 7 am (per Hayden's request).

He didn't want to waste any time.

Here he is waiting patiently for the eggs.

And by 8 am we were done... with round 1.

Then in the afternoon we did the neighborhood egg dye.

Hailey joined in on the fun.

And Hayden was an egg dying pro by the afternoon.

Boogie loved to be near Hailey. And she liked it too. She was very gentle.

Then early Sunday morning we found evidence of the Easter Bunny. He ate some of the carrots we left for him and left some greetings on the side walk.

Here's the neighborhood gang ready for the hunt (7 am).

And some of the older kids.

Here's Hayden's face when we realized other kids were also going for the same eggs he was. Pouting about his competition.

How could he get mad at his cutie!

Afterwards they sat and opened every egg and traded with each other. The girls were very nice and gave Hayden all the super hero stickers. Hayden in turn, gave the girls some hair ties.

But don't worry, there was plenty of candy too.

Then the kids placed the eggs back into the community egg recycling bucket (started last year). Green points for Woodland Place!

Hailey enjoyed playing with the eggs.

Even helped put them in the bucket.

And how could we resist!

Then it was Brunch time.

It was a very nice Easter!

Alright, which neighbors can we knock off so that the Allegre's can move in? What a great tradition. Very fun!
