Last weekend Hayden had a "Meet the Team" event for T-ball.

Meeting new friends.

Watching the kids run the bases while we wait for announcements.

Hayden and Hailey walking the bases with Grandma's help.

What a nice big brother... holding her hand.

He didn't want her to get run over by the other kids running the bases.

He gave her his cap to wear.

Our team!

Here they are getting their hats.

Then the teams broke up for some baseball drills. There's the coach. I'm a little worried about how Hayden's going to do. He lost interest very quickly in each drill. Here's Jason describing how to run the bases (Hayden kept running on the grass or he'd stop half way and walk).

There he goes.

Good job Hayden (this one was better than most).

Next was batting practice. First time Hayden held a metal bat... much heavier than the plastic one we have! This is our first introduction into organized sports. It should be very interesting!

Good job getting to know about T-ball on your first day, Hayden. It's great to try several different sports and I hope you like this one.
He will be fine...this is the best age:) he will pick the grass and someone else will run the bases backwards. Just try different sports...until he loves something! It may take years...Preston now loves football:)
