The Sunday before the 4th of July (yes, I'm very behind!) we went down to Laguna Beach to enjoy the nice day.
Here's Hayden's drama on the walk down to the beach... I apparently got sunscreen in his eyes.

I love this little area just South of Main Beach. You can choose to place your towel on the beach or grass. Plus there's a fun play ground for the kids.
You can tell it's summer- look how crowded the beach is!

We went for a long walk down the beach. Hayden and Jason walked in the water. Hailey was too cautious... scared of the waves I guess. So we stayed on the dry sand.
At one point she wanted to go in the water with dad... but chickened out once he got her near the water. This is funny because just days later on the 4th, she had NO fear of the pool.
And of course on the walk back she wanted to be carried... she's getting too heavy for this!
