Tuesday was Hayden's first day of Kindergarten!
He's such a big boy! He was so excited that he woke at 5 am and asked "Do I go to Kindergarten now?"
Class starts at 8:15 am and we all walked him to school.
A picture with mom.
And by the time we took pictures with Dad, he was over it and being goofy.
He just wanted to get there. Walking with his Spiderman backpack.
Hailey's walking Hayden to school too.
She wanted to hold his hand the whole way.
Getting closer.
He didn't want to take a picture here because the sun was in his eyes. So Hailey smiled for us.
And he wouldn't pose here either. They have a bunch of cute murals at the school like this one.
Classroom 1.
Lining up for the teaching. There are 5 or 6 different Kindergarten classes each with 25-27 students. It's crazy... I'm more accustom to small schools. It's going to take me a while to get used to this size.
Waving good bye to us right before they walked to the classroom. Then at 1:30 pm they get out and he takes the bus to Saint Andrew's WATCH after school program with the rest of the kids on our block. I made Jason drive to school at 1:30 to make sure he made it on the bus ok.
When we asked him about his first day, he gave very little details. "Good" was about all we could get out of him. But he told me all about the bus ride! I think it was the highlight.

You're really getting grown up, Hayden! I bet you're meeting lots of new neighborhood friends at your school.
So I know this post is suppose to be about Hayden, but I just have to say: you look great, Amber! Love the dress and your hair is gorgeous. :)
And way to go, Hayden!
So excited for Hayden. We are so excited to see you all
How funny that he got up so early! Olivia was pretty pumped too. Can you believe we have kindergarteners? We are getting OLD.
