Fall in SLO

We took a quick trip up to SLO last weekend.  This is the crew taking a quick leg stretch in Santa Barbara.  They kids played at a park and then we got some coffee.
We stayed at the Apple Farm.
The kids playing in the old car out front of the hotel.
 Hailey's turn.
The kids got some mittens at the Apple Farm store.
They will be perfect at Snow Papa and Grandma's for Thanksgiving.
And Hayden got a history book.
On Sunday we headed out to See Canyon for some Apples and Pumpkins.
This was our first stop where we picked up some apples.
 And some apple cider pops!
Next stop was to pick up some pumpkins.
And take a few fall pictures.
So hard to get both looking at the camera.
 That's better.

Inside their store we also got more apples, some pears, and apple cider.  I love this old stove.
And old frig!  This was in use.  It's where they stored the apple cider.  Very cool!

The rule for picking out your pumpkin was you had to be able to carry it yourself.
Because Hayden wanted the largest one possible.
 Next stop was Avila Beach.
They have a great kids park right off the beach with a big pirate ship!
And they re-developed the main street.
They shut off a one block stretch by the pier for just foot traffic.  It was a beautiful fall day.  A perfect Central Coast weekend!
