Hayden had a week off school in Feb. So at the last minute I decided to take work off and the kids and I went to visit Snow Papa and Grandma.
It was good timing because Great Grandma Del had a bad week just before we arrived. She had a minor heart attach and spent a few days in the hospital. So we got to see her when she was out. She now needs 24 hr a day care and Hailey and I were able to watch her one day while mom was at work.
These pictures are when we first arrived. As you can see- Hayden loves Roscoe!
And Hailey enjoyed showing Snow Grandma her Frozen movie sing along songs.
And they were both really excited to see Snow Papa.
And this is why Papa's back ends up hurting him.
Hailey always wants to go on his shoulders or be carried and Papa won't say no!
He had a fun surprise for the kids- a new fire pit!
The first night we tried it out.
The kids help collect branches and wood from the forest for the fire.

It was really hard to keep Hailey dressed warm- she only wants to wear skirts/dresses and sandals. Not exactly winter mountain attire.

We let Hailey wear her skirt but she had to put on leggings.

Hot dogs just taste better when they are roasted over an open flame!
And Roscoe makes sure he stays very close to the kids when they are eating! He doesn't want to miss any dropped food!
I got to practice different camera settings for very low light!

Next came marshmallows! Hayden approves!
Although Hailey is the real sweet tooth.
