Hayden gets a week off in Feb. They call it Ski Week.
But instead of skiing we rented a house for a few days in Santa Barbara.
And we had to make sure the house had a pool!
Snow Grandma had a pre-scheduled girls weekend. But Papa was free!
The kids were so excited to have him join us.

Hailey is almost ready to loose the water wings.
The weather was a little overcast but usually by 2 pm the sun would be out.
But nothing stopped these kids from getting in the pool!
On clear days, the house has an ocean view.
After the pool the kids would chill and watch cartoons or movies.
Ah, relaxation!
But they spent most of the time in the pool. Hailey's hair turned green!

Grandpa brought his gravity hanging gadget so we could help him set it up. Now he can hang like a bat and hopefully relieve some of the pain in this back. I think it's not helping like he hoped.
