The week prior to Spring Break Jason had a VERY busy week at work. So, my parents came down to help with the kids. But because I was at work I got no pictures! Ugh!
When Spring Break came we just stayed local.
But on Thursday we took a mini road trip to the San Diego Zoo with Brooke, Paige and their cousin Mara. Brooke mentioned needing to go for a school project. So we borrowed Dave's big Excursion and pilled everyone in!
They said this was their "Beckham Family" pose.

The pained look on Jason's face is the Taylor Swift playing on the radio. He's a good sport!

Hailey only wanted Mara to hold her hand the whole trip! Poor Mara. But Mara's the youngest of 6 kids so I think she liked being the "big sister"- at least for the first few hours.
We got on the top deck of the tour bus. It was a good view of the animals.
I brought the wrong camera lens so every picture is super close up and hard to tell we are even at a zoo!
So these two pictures proves we really were at the zoo. Polar bear!
After the bus we walked all around. Hayden's favorite was the bears. The Grizzly Bears were sleeping and not in view. But this bear was sleeping up in a tree! I don't know how he didn't fall!
Lunch break! On Wed. the girls came over to our house and made lunches for all of us. I didn't have to lift a finger. Have I mentioned they are great kids!
So fun.

And the next day after the Zoo was Paige's 13th birthday. And Brooke and Mara just turned 15 in March.
Next came a ride on the Sky Ride to the top of the zoo.
Such a good husband!
Such a fun day. Then Friday Jason took the kids to Disneyland while I went to work to give a tour to a local non-profit that might explore getting a Cataract system for their ministry. I'll try to find some Disneyland pics from Jason's phone to post later.
