Sitting up and Standing up (well, at least once...)

Hayden's getting more and more coordinated each day. He is able to sit up on his own from a lying down position. And yesterday he pulled himself up to a standing position in his crib while holding onto the rails. Here's a picture of him playing with a toy Grandpa Randy got him.

He actually prefers to flip it over and play with the back of the toy. It has these really cool straps that he likes to chew on.

Here he is biting off more than he can chew (literally). The straps are quite long and he LOVES to chew on them. He occasionally goes over board and gags himself. I have to really watch him. At least when he gags himself he's figured out how to pull the strap out.

Here he is at another feeding session. The bib says "More like Daddy everyday."

He's been exercising his independence lately. He really wants to feed himself. He gets cranky when I take the spoon away.

And when he was done, he took his bib off himself. He hardly needs me at all! :) I know these aren't the best pictures but I haven't taken many lately. These were the best of the bunch.
