STANDING UP NOW!!!!!
Grandpa took this first picture of Hayden standing up. Doesn't he look so proud of himself! This new activity REALLY makes it hard to put him to sleep. He's constantly pulling himself up to a stand- on all four sides of the crib. He usually falls pretty softly but did get one good head whack on the corner of the crib. It left a nice welt and a subsequent bruise right down the middle of the fore head.
Here he is pulling himself up.
"Are you getting good pictures of all this?"
"Look Mom, I can touch the wall!"
This picture shows the devastation the poor bumpers have endured. Hayden likes to stand right on top of them.
He was getting so good at standing (putting the rails under his armpits and then standing on top of his bumpers) that we decided to lower the mattress to avoid any accidents. He still stands up but it's hard for him to see over the rails. Here he is trying to look over. FIRST LITTLE FEVER
On Sunday night he had his first fever- 99.9 degrees F. Not sure what caused it- maybe teething. He didn't seem bothered by it. He was just sweating a lot. Here I am trying to cool him down.

We discovered a new game with this toy that Hayden really enjoys.
Jason really likes it too!
I'm not sure what these toys are called but they snap together at each end. You can make it into a cirle. Here's Jason rolling it towards Hayden. He get's a real kick out of this.
He thinks it's so funny when it rolls close to him.
Here it is in motion...
landing near Hayden's lap.
He laughs as it comes close to him. He hasn't figures out how to catch it yet. But I'm sure he will soon. Then we'll have to teach him how to roll it back.
