9 Months

I almost forgot to give a 9 month post.

Hayden turned 9 months this past Tuesday.

I tried to find a picture that shows his physique. Still short and squaty.

He's 19lbs 6 oz (50 %), 28" long (25 %), and head circum. 18.25" (50 %).

Here are some of the things Hayden's doing at 9 months:

• Exploring and getting into EVERYTHING
• Crawling and "cruising" like a champ.
• Stands unassisted (and usually unaware- will grab for a toy and forget he's not holding on to the couch anymore)
• Took a couple steps (just one at a time) this week. Ended with him on his butt but it's a start.
• Still doesn't say anything intelligible. "Blah, blah, blah" We're still waiting for the "ma, ma" and "da, da".
• Eats lots of Cherrios, Gerber fruits and veggies.
• Doesn't like any food with meat in it (maybe I have a Vegiterian?)
• Sleeps great- usually 10 hours at night with 2-3 naps each day.
• "Dances" (or bounces) to music.
• Protests when trying to dress him or change his diaper (can't wait for this phase to pass)
• Still chews on everything.
• Has 4 teeth- 2 up and 2 down.
• Loves electronics- especially TV remotes and cell phones (seems to recognize grandma and grandpa's voice on the phone)
• Loves to be outside- likes the stroller rides and looking at plants.
• I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of for now.
