Cayucos Vacation

Hayden spent his first of many weekends in Cayucos.
We rented a house with The Tyndall's for Scott's Birthday.
They have a 20 month old, Jack (pictured above in his monkey Halloween costume).
Jack and Hayden look like they could be brothers. Same round face, blue eyes, and reddish hair.

Here's Hayden's first beach day. It was a little cold and cloudy but Hayden was able to crawl around a bit.

Jason and Scott took advantage of the good waves.

Later that day we headed over to the Morro Bay Aquarium (nothing like Monterrey).

It's very small and a little disconcerning. But the boys are too small to care.

Hayden didn't know what to think of the seals and sea lions.

For those of you who haven't experience the aquarium, here's a picture. They have some rescued seals that you can throw food at for 50 cents a bag. The seals compete for every ones attention to get the food. This ones stricking a pose.

That night we made fresh fish taco's at the house. Lisa and Scott's friends, Garrett and Amy, live in Cayucos and they brought over some rock cod that Garrett caught that day while Kayak fishing. Garrett was an incredible cook! Yummy.

The next morning was beautiful at the beach- very sunny and nice.

...and the reaction. Maybe he was expecting the water to be like his bath water. It was pretty cold. His little hands were shaking. Sorry Hayden, we'll try that again later.
