Mother's Day Reflections

Ahhhh, this is the life!

While I'm waiting for the blog to up load my pictures, I thought I'd share some reflections on the aspects of Motherhood that I never expected (with my whopping 16 months of experience):

1. 7:00 am is considered "sleeping in".
2. I've used more bleach while doing laundry over the past 12 months (since eating real food) than all the other years combined.
3. A little guy creates double the laundry than mom and dad combined.
4. Road trips now require four times more luggage space.
5. The energizer bunny has nothing on toddlers.
6. Parks are a mom's best friend
7. He never wants to be held unless he's hurt or I'm cooking.
8. Diapers can hold a surprising amount of liquid!
9. Baby formula cost more than lobster (and tastes far worse).
10. Anything sharp or dangerous is irresistibly fun and far better than any toy.
