First Sleep Over

Akela came over on Saturday for a play date. Hayden was so excited to show her all his toys.
Jeff and Niko had a wedding to attend so Akela got to hang with Hayden. Jeff and Niko stayed for a while, got Akela comfortable and changed into their wedding dudes. Niko was very excited it was going to be an all boys night.

(Lisa and Mailee are in Seattle for another wedding) So Akela wouldn't miss "daddy" we started off with dinner- worked like a charm, she didn't cry once.
In this picture she's sharing her strawberries with Hayden. She always made sure he was well taken care. She asked me for more strawberries and when I gave her some, she asked if I'd get some for Hayden. When Jason gave her a sippy cup with milk, she made sure he got one for Hayden too. She's got a little heart of gold.
Here they are waiting anxiously for Jason to get the strollers ready for a walk. She had two pink blankies and she gave one to Hayden! So cute!

And here they are climbing the fireplace together- two peas in a pod.

She was SO good at bed time. Here's how it went- "Do you want to go to bed Akela?" Akela answers, "Yes." (Hayden has NEVER answered yes to that question). So I laid her down in the play pack in the guest room, closed the door, and she was down without a fuss. It was my son who was crying and screaming in the other room! I was blown away, a new environment and she went down without a hitch. If I could only get Hayden to go down that easy in his own crib!
