Hayden had his first day of preschool this week. Well, actually, it was last Thursday. He and I visited together on Thursday and Friday for two hours each day. This is him just seconds before running in to play with the "kids". He was so curious I could hardly get him to look at me for a picture. This week, he went by himself- 1 hour on Monday, 2 hours on Tues. ... and all day today. He did really well- no crying all day, including when I dropped him off. And when I picked him up today, he didn't want to leave. He tried hiding from me- little stinker. Aren't they supposed to run to you saying "mommy, mommy!" Well, I guess that's not Hayden's style.

He was really excited. I think he was excited because Elmo talks about school- even has a fun song about school.

What fun! It must have been interesting to see Hayden interact with the other kids. I hope he continues to enjoy all of the extra activities available at preschool and will look forward to going each day.
My goodness, next thing you kow he'll be graduating college! I love the froggie backpack!
So awesome!! If it makes you feel any better noah crys when I pick him up from the baby sitters when I work. She must be a lot more fun than I am : )
