A Busy Easter Weekend

On Saturday the neighborhood kids dyed eggs at Vivian's house.
Hayden tried his best to keep his hands out of the egg dye.

He was a little distracted when he realized the shell peeled off the egg. After coloring the eggs, Victoria brought out their new bunny for the kids to pet. Look how gentle Hayden was!
Then on Sunday we had our annual block Easter egg hunt and breakfast. The hunt started at 7:30 am. The hardest part was keeping Hayden inside until then... he wakes at 6:30 am. He was much more into it this year. He did a great job finding eggs and putting them into his (big) basket. Here are all the block kids checking out their loot. And like always... we had way too much food.

Adults and children lounging in the sun after a big breakfast. After breakfast we finished our community garden. We planted a lemon, lime, and fig tree between The Wilke's and our house.

We finished the weekend with rack of lamb at our place with Grandma and Grandpa Ficht. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of people- but plates.
