Our bible study had a mini-shower and b-day party for us last night. Here's a rare family shot, Hayden's having a hard time keeping his eyes off the cake.
Here's Hayden talking to all the guys. 
Norm cooked the best turkey! He brined it for two days and them smoked it for 7 hours. It was fantastic. Now Jason wants a smoker.

Frank helped Hayden up so he could get a better look at the cake. Hayden was so excited that there was cake in the house. He kept singing the Happy Birthday song.
Even when he woke up this morning he was still talking about it. First words out of his mouth were "We had a birthday party last night- with cake!"
We made him wait very patiently for the cake. All the grown ups had to finish dinner, then cake. He did a great job waiting.
After dessert we opened gifts and prayed for the baby.

That is awesome! You look great and that little girl is going to look sublime in that tutu outfit! Don't forget I have started a bag of clothes for you! I love the shot of Hayden smiling longlingly at the cake. That kid must be totally deprived if he's DREAMING of cake!!!

Trust me, he get's plenty of sweets- we're not too strict on the sweets. He just has a HUGE sweet tooth.
