More San Diego

 We were very careful to choose a hotel with a good pool for the kids.

 Because every waking moment they want to be in the pool.  We spent a lot of time in the pool during our trip but I only got a few pictures from the first night.

 The next day we walked down to some shops.  Hayden was VERY happy to discover a Native American store- another current obsession of his.

 Next we took a tour of this air craft carrier.

 Hayden really enjoyed it.

Another pilot in the family?

 Hailey crying because you had to be 5 years old to get the tour head sets.

 The ones like these.  And I'm sure Hayden didn't rub it in at all!

 Lucky for her, daddy shared.

 And of course, her interest in them was short lived.  She wore them for maybe 10 min.

 Then grandpa took Hayden on a flight simulator.

 They waited in line for a long time.  And see that harness they are putting on Hayden, that's because that pod flips upside down.

 After the ride!  At least papa is still smiling.  Hayden loved it.  He crashed the plane about 5 times into the ocean.  He's got some practicing to do!

 On the top deck, touring a helicopter.

 Then, someone started to get sleepy.

 Real sleepy.

 But not this guy!  He was still going strong.

 So grandma and I took Hailey to get some lunch and relax while the boys finished their tour.

 On the way out of the restaurant we ran into Hayden and he decided to come with the girls back to the hotel.  We took a bike taxi!

 Did I mention someone was sleepy.  Sleeping on the back of a bike!

Finally back to the hotel room where she was supposed to sleep.  Instead she got a second wind and convinced daddy to take her to the pool when he got back.
