Uncle Sylas Visits

Uncle Sylas flew down from Truckee, CA to visit us. On Saturday- we had a beach day at Crystal Cove.

Here's the boys. They are trying to persuade Hayden to go down to the water.

We brought the baseball tee with us and had some batting practice.

Hayden preferred hitting left handed.

And both Sylas and Jason got some hits in too.

We had some shakes at The Shake Shack.

Here's Hayden doing his happy dance / karate moves.

He kept saying, "we're having fun at the beach!"

Then time to head home for a much needed nap before The Angel's game.

This was Hayden and Hailey's first ball game. I love how little he looks in the chair.

He ended up eating 3/4's of Sylas' hot dog before we got him his own.

And to my surprise, he made it to the 9th inning. Sylas reminded me that we didn't make it there until the 3rd inning (very LA, I know- but there was traffic).

It may have helped that we bribed him. If he was good until the end he'd get a hat. So, here he is with his new hat and his second milk shake of the day. When we left, I forgot my purse under my seat (had the baby and diaper bag in hand). Sylas ran back only 5 minutes later and it was gone. It eventually got turned into lost and found. They took all the cash including the change and my sunglasses. But at least it got turned in and I didn't have to go to the DMV.
