We spent another afternoon in the harbor on Dave's boat.
This time Hayden got to kayak for his first time.
He had a very good teacher.
Jason said he talked constantly while on the kayak. "Where are we going dad?" "Where's the big boat?" "What's that?"
Afterwards Dave BBQ'd some flank steak and all other neighbors brought sides/appetizers. The marinade on the steak was super flavorful. Rub steak with dijon mustard, then marinade for 4 hours in teriyaki, soy, (2:1 ratio in favor of teriyaki), garlic, and ginger (optional).
Super easy and super good.
And after dinner, Hayden provided everyone with entertainment.
Hayden was so happy to find dress up stuff in Brook and Paige's room.
