Hayden: "Mom can we pray?"
Mom: "Of course, what do you want to pray about?"
Hayden: "Can we pray Angela brings cupcakes?"
I was telling Hayden how the baby needs to eat in the middle of the night,
Hayden: "You should tell her she can eat in the morning and that you need to sleep. You should tell her that. You should say 'Baby, just wait 'til the morning- then I'll feed you." (If it were only that simple!)
Hayden: What do you think the baby dreams about?"
Mom" "I don't know. What do you think?"
Hayden: "Maybe dolphins."
While putting on Curious George, the TV it was on Entertainment Tonight and Jennifer Lopez was getting her picture taken on the red carpet,
Hayden: "Mom, is that a princess?"
Mom: "Yep."
Hayden: "I want to go into the TV and hug that princess."
Snow papa borrowed Jason's bike to take Hayden for a ride. Hayden's on the back and papa is a little wobbly.
Hayden "Careful Papa!"
Hayden's sorting through the money in his piggy bank. He holds up a nickel and says "This one's a knuckle". Then hold up the dime, "And this one's a diamond."
After I've finished instructing Jason on his driving (ok, ok, I'm a back seat driver!), Hayden asks,
"Why is Dad a bad driver Mom?"
I'm sitting next to Hayden as he eats his dinner, he's half way done and asks,
Hayden: "Mom, does daddy fart?"
Mom: "Yep."
Hayden: "Does he fart when he eats too much."
Mom: "Sometimes."
Hayden: "I don't want to finish my dinner. I don't want to eat too much. I don't want to fart like daddy. It stinks."
I asked Hayden what he wants for Christmas. He thought about it for a second and then said, "Maybe a bird, with it's wings out like this." (holds his arms out wide). "
Some of this favorite sayings lately when we tell him what to do (which usually gets him in trouble):
"Don't say that to me!"
"I don't want you to tell me that."
"That makes me angry."
"I can do [insert forbidden activity] when ever I want."
He's a stubborn one that thinks he knows everything.

OMG, I love these posts!! I love his rantings! The stinky fart one made my side hurt. Hayden says the darnest things!
What a great guy! Unfortunately, it's much funnier from a "distance." Wish I had been that clever at his age.
PS Happy "back-to-work" Amber.
That is HILARIOUS Amber...He is so funny!
