Hayden was a great pumpkin carver this year. He enjoyed the safe pumpkins knives. He liked poking holes in the pumpkin. He may have been a little too confident in his knife skills- he kept telling me "Mom, I need a bigger knife."

And like always, he had plenty of help. This is the neighborhood pumpkin carving station at the Valleley's house on Oct. 30th.

Miss Hailey loved having grandma around this weekend.

She loves her grandma.

Hayden was having a great time with all his favorite people around!

Here's the finished product (from our block, not just us).

The morning of Halloween FINALLY arrived. Hayden had been talking about it for so long. He was a little bummed he couldn't go trick or treating in the morning.

While setting up for the party the kids got to practice their apple bobbing skills.

There you go Hayden, use the tongue.

One mean pirate!

Ashley and her girls stopped by for a while. Here's the youngest little bug, Vivienna. I didn't get a picture of Audrey but she was the cutest little bubble bee.

My cousin Carrie and Ashley with the babies- Vivienna's only 3 wks younger than Hailey.

Jason's co-worker Simon and his wife also joined the block party.

More block party fun.

Jason and I won the block Chili Cook Off. Partially because we had a lot of family and friends there to sway the vote! Oh, and if you can't tell, we're cowboy/cowgirl.

Then Hayden's favorite part- trick or treating.

And here's Hayden showing Carrie his loot.
