Hailey turned 5 months today. Here's what she's been up to:
She's chewing on everything
Still doesn't like rice cereal
Slept 'til morning 4 nights in a row
Is a very happy and easy baby!
This is a sneak peak at her Halloween outfit. Can you guess who she is? I'll give you a hint... leading character in the Wizard of Oz.

And this is Hayden and Papa making Gingerbread cookies.
I bought a boxed mix and thought I'd save it for Christmas time. Hayden found it and insisted we make cookies now. He had a fun decorating them, and even more fun eating them!

And this is Hayden "carving" his turkey. Moments before this, he was eating his dinner- a turkey quesadilla. He asked, "What's in turkey?" I told him turkey from a bird and a little salt. He was fascinated by idea of eating the actual bird. He asked many questions and I did my best to answer them accurately. I even showed him a video on YouTube called "How to Carve a Turkey". He then went to his room, got his stuffed turkey, and started carving it with his pirates knife. Maybe next time I should just tell him the turkey came from Trader Joes.

Tell Hayden to be sure to have his pirate's knife on hand at Thanksgiving. We may need to call upon him for some carving skills!
WOW, Hailey is so freaking adorable in the Dorothy costume. I love her ruby shoes!!! BUT, the dark hair doesn't quite do her justice. I think she'll make a better blonde. Let's get the kids together soon, before Thanskgiving. I'll buy Hayden and Olivia a rotisserie chicken from Costco and they can have fun carving it up! We can make chicken salad or soup from it when they're done :)
