The Hunt

We had our early morning Easter Egg Hunt with the neighborhood. Hayden stepped out to find three Matchbox car packs thanks to Easter Bunny Suzanne (Vivi's mom).

Here's the anxious kids getting a quick description on the boundaries of the hunt.

Then they were off. Hayden was the slowest of them all. He wanted to open each plastic egg as he found it- which was fine with us because he didn't need that much candy anyways.

Grandma and Grandpa Ficht rose early to join the fun.

There were SO many eggs this year. Each parked car had at least 4 eggs each. And they finally just started throwing eggs on the lawns because there were no more hiding places.

After the hunt we had the annual pot luck breakfast. Suzanne recently painted her picnic table with the chalk board paint so the kids got to write in chalk what each plate was. I had a horrible time helping the kids spell the food items- which should come as no surprise to my blog readers.

Yum!

It was a little colder this year be we still managed to lounge around in the sun.
