Easter 2012

We started the weekend with some Easter Egg fun.
It was Hailey's first time participating.
Here they are slam dunking the eggs into the bowls. There were a few casualties- especially with Hailey's eggs.
Notice the tongue?
It must help her concentrate.
Attempt #1 at a group picture.
Attempt #2.
Love the colors!
We also decorated some more in the afternoon with Vivian but I didn't get any pictures. And Carrie (my cousin), Joe and Izzy Sanchez stopped by Saturday afternoon to say hi.
Then Sunday morning, the kids were up bright and early to see if there were eggs to hunt!
The neighborhood Easter egg hunt started at 7:30 so we kept them busy with some pre-hunt presents. Chocolate and candy!
Candy for breakfast? No complaints here!
Hailey was shaking she was so excited. This girl loves her chocolate!
Grandma and Papa came down to join the fun.
Hey, who left that half eaten carrot?
What a fun tradition with our block!
Ready, set, go!
Hailey did a great job!

And grandma was a great help.
Poor girl, maybe next year I'll find a basket more her size. I went to the stores to find her one at the last minute and they were all picked over- so Sue found her this one in our house. It worked!
Baby Conner was putting his eggs in other peoples' baskets.
"What's inside Grandma?"
Family!
Don't forget to check the mail box.
Vivi needed a bigger basket! Maybe she should have switched with Hailey.
Ahhhh, the coffee station.
All the kids opening their eggs.
Grandma's helping Hailey with hers.

I loves those cheeks... I don't want them to go away.

The girls love playing with Hailey.
Helping her on the balance beam.
And the food! Can't forget the food.
Who would have thought a big ball would have been so much fun?
Then after the brunch, The Wright and Sanchez crew dropped by to say hi. They were in the area for a Sunday service at the OC fair grounds. So nice to see baby Izzy two days in a row!
Hayden boxing with Joe.
My Uncle Jim, Aunt Cathy and their first grand baby- Izzy.
And their daughter Carrie.
That wraps up our Easter weekend! So much fun.
