A Little More Baseball

Hayden finally agreed to give T-ball another chance.
Here's pictures from a week-ago Saturday.  It was a long day... pictures with the team first and then the game.
Jason worked the snack bar while I tried to keep Hailey off the field.  Here she is dragging her sweater around in the grass.  She likes to stand behind the dugout near Hayden. She calls him "Hay-Dee".
 Here's "Hay-Dee" heading to bat.
 A swing...
 and a miss.
 And again.
Running the bases.  He went from 1st base to the pitchers mound.  Here are the opposing team members trying to guide him to the correct base.
And a nice jog from 3rd base to the pitchers mound.  I'm not sure what it was about the pitches mound.  Now if he'd just agree to practice we could show him the right base running pattern.
And finally home.  The whole crowd cheered (both teams) when he finally found it!
And there's nothing like fielding with the mitt covering your face.

The loud chuckles you hear from me re: BOTH teams cheering Hayden as he reaches 'home' are meant in the friendliest way. Are there any iPad or computer games which involve runners on the bases? Might help with learning the pattern.
